Psoriasis

It is a skin disorder with silvery-grey scaling papules involving papulosquamous of the skin. It is known as Ekakushta in Ayurveda. Causes: The disease is caused due to impurities of the blood associated with psychic causes. Signs and Symptoms: Scaly, silvery-grey papules appear on the exterior surface of either the elbows or knees, or both. Sometimes it will spread all over the body. Psoriasis must be differentiated from syphillitic rashes occurring on the body. The Patient suffering from Psoriasis will have patches with violent itching and burning sensation with watery discharge and blood.
